Are you married and do you have children?
Yes! I’ve been happily married to my amazing husband for 21 years, and we have three beautiful children together.
Where are you from?
I'm proud to call Central Alabama my home, and I love serving families, couples and businesses throughout Alabama and beyond. I am originally from Hueytown, AL but I currently live in West Blocton, AL.
How did you get started in photography?
My love for photography started back in high school from wanting to preserve life's moments. What started as a passion has become a career that I've been blessed to pursue since 2012.
What do you enjoy outside of photography?
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me spending time with my kids and family, enjoying the outdoors, fishing, camping or hanging out with my many animals or even at the ballpark.
What do you love photographing the most?
Weddings will always have a special place in my heart because every couple has a unique story to tell. I also love families, seniors, children, pets, sports and capturing ALL of life's milestones.
What’s your background?
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from UAB’s School of Business, with additional coursework in photography, web design, programming, and photo editing.
Are you a professional photographer?
Absolutely! I’m a licensed, published and insured professional with advanced editing skills and years of experience behind the camera.
Any professional affiliations?
Yes! I'm a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
Do you do photography full time?
While photography is a huge part of my life, I also work full time in the IT/ATM field as a ATM Operations Manager for a Credit Union —a unique balance of tech and creativity! I also do much of their event photography!
What kind of camera do you have?
I am a Nikon girl all the way!!! I have several Nikon bodies D800, D810, D850 and Z8 and countless lens.
Do you have a studio?
Yes, I offer both in-studio and on-location sessions, depending on your preference. My studio is located about 20 minutes from Tannehill State Park in Central Alabama in Greenpond.
Where do you get professional prints or products made?
I use a professional, high-quality lab out of state to ensure beautiful, lasting prints and products. If you are looking for personal printing, I highly recommend MPIX.
